BIG MAN ON CAMPUS
In October, we host a weeklong philanthropy event called Big Man on Campus. The first event is Fraternity Feud, where fraternities form teams and answer questions about Zeta Tau Alpha, including our mission, philanthropy, and core values. Next, the fraternities compete in a flag football tournament, facing off in a bracket-style competition to determine the winner. Following that, we host Carnival Day, featuring activities such as a dunk tank, a “Pie a Zeta” station, food service, and more. The week concludes with a talent show, where competing fraternities perform dances or showcase other talents. Participants compete for the titles of “Fan Favorite,” “Big Man,” and “Runner-Up.” Go to the next page to see pictures from our Big Man on Campus philanthropy events!
Country Can Cure Concert
This spring we held a country concert at The Hat featuring a Kansas native Erik Dylan. The crowd enjoyed Erik as he brought out the country roots of these Kansans. We danced the night away to covered songs with the helpful dance moves from the Swingin' Spurs (a K-State swing dancing club). This year we raised over $10,000 in ticket sales, Chipotle fundraising and donations. Special thanks to Erik Dylan, The Hat and our sponsors for such a fulfilled event! We are ready for next year!
